Perfect Hair Forever (PHF)

Perfect Hair Forever is an Anime television show parody created by Mike Lazzo, Matt Harrigan, and Matt Maiellaro on Cartoon Network's late night programming Adult Swim. The main plot of Perfect Hair Forever is about a young boy named Gerald (voiced by Kim Manning) going on a quest to get Perfect Hair from Tuna Mountain to remedy his premature baldness. The series first premiered on November 7th, 2004 to replace the unfinished pilot episode of the Adult Swim series Squidbillies, which was followed by an Anime Talk Show afterwards. The rest of the first season would later premiere in 2005, with the total of five new episodes. Perfect Hair Forever would eventually get a seventh episode later on in 2007, which originally ended the series with the total of seven episodes. Seven years later, two additional episodes would premiere unannounced on April 1st, 2014 as part of Adult Swim’s annual April Fools’ Day stunt.
