The Buns are sentient hotdog buns with no hotdogs in them who have made several appearances in the Perfect Hair Forever series. They only communicate by saying the words of "la-la-la", in a similar manner to Action Hotdog, have their own commander, and the ability to fly/float into the air. The Buns usually look either realistic or sometimes cartoonish. They are polar opposites of the Cats.
History[]
They debut in "Cat Snatch Fever" when Uncle Grandfather summons a large variant of a Bun to ensnare Rod until he disappears out of the temple. He then told a message to the Bun to fly off so he can find and warn Gerald about the Secret Military Police manipulating the plan.
When Brenda causes the Cat-Bun Wars, after she whispers through Gerald's ear, an army of Buns fight an army of Cats at the end of "Cat Snatch Fever" to the beginning of "Happy Suck Day." The Buns use weapons such as swords, crossbows, and giant bottles of ketchup and mustard. The Cat-Bun Wars continue in-process as both species continue to fight each other in battle, resulting in several deaths. Uncle Grandfather created a ceasefire for the leaders (General Meow and Commander Bun) of the respective Cat and Bun armies to sign a peace treaty but they never do it.
During a motorcycle race/chopper duel between Coiffio and Gerald, the Buns and the Cats attend a large stadium. They hold large green gloves and play instruments such as drums and trumpets to cheer for Gerald.
During a massive flood, a Bun fights a Cat on the back of an Alligator, which the Young Man and Sherman see. The Bun is sliced in-half by the Cat until the latter is attacked by some more Buns.
Eight years later, the Bun army attend the Young Man's wedding, along with their enemies, the Cat army. The fate of the Bun army's success hasn't been currently resolved.
