Perfect Hair Forever is an adult animated television show created by Mike Lazzo (one of the Adult Swim's Vice-Presidents), Matt Harrigan, and Matt Maiellaro (the co-creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force) on Cartoon Network's late night programming block Adult Swim. It is a parody of the anime genre and ran for over nine episodes. The main plot of the series is about a young boy named Gerald (voiced by Kim Manning) going on a quest to get Perfect Hair from Tuna Mountain to remedy his premature baldness. The series first premiered on November 7th, 2004 to replace an unfinished pilot episode of the Adult Swim series Squidbillies, which was followed by an Anime Talk Show afterwards. The rest of the first season would later premiere in 2005, with the total of five new episodes. The series would eventually get a seventh episode later on in 2007, which originally ended the series with the total of seven episodes due to cancellation. Seven years later, two additional episodes would premiere unannounced on April 1st, 2014 as apart of Adult Swim’s annual April Fools’ Day stunt (expanding the episode count from seven to nine, or eight if you count "Muscular Distraction - B" as a second verison of "Muscular Distraction - A" with differences).

- During April Fools’ Day of 2007, all of the episodes of Perfect Hair Forever were played in reverse order while having English subtitles. However, at some point, one of the subtitles shown on the screen were actually those of an episode of the Adult Swim series Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

- Gerald himself made a cameo in the "Hair" episode of the Adult Swim series Off The Air where he is shown in the Virtual reality haircut simulator footage segment of DigInfo.
