Return to Balding Victory is the first and only episode from the second season of Perfect Hair Forever. It first aired on April 1st, 2007 on [Adult Swim].
Synopsis[]
Gerald wakes up after his crash and continues his journey to Tuna Mountain. Soon the forest and all surrounding areas fall victim to a friendly flood named Wetsy.
Plot[]
Continuing from the events of "Tusk", Gerald wakes up after his motorcycle crash and continues his journey to Tuna Mountain with the Inappropriate Comedy Tree and Terry until a massive tidal wave suddenly appears and floods the entire forest, and all surrounding areas around the land. Gerald and co. ride on a bathtub to float in the waters and meet Wetsy, a sentient flood. They wonder what would happen next on the Internet. Meanwhile, Uncle Grandfather uses a laptop to look up porn sites on the Internet. Brenda comes in and Uncle Grandfather tells her to get comfortably nude as he puts on a giant father-sized condom because he needs to be doing it with Brenda since Gerald was assigned to his journey. He also claims that God told him to blow up everything. Brenda, however, is too busy trying to put the severe head of Model Robot onto the shelve. Rod pays all of his cash for the house that he buys from Coiffio but the latter is too busy jumping up and down on a bed. The house then suddenly gets flooded by Wetsy but Rod currently has no flood insurance of any kind and decides to move in with his new family, consisting of the Naked Apron Woman, Felix, and one of the students from Gerald's school, albeit eaten, as "that's all he can do."
Uncle Grandfather uses Brenda to lift up his temple from the flood while Cat Man stands on the top of his house to shoot Wetsy due to his hatred for water. Coiffio arrives on a blue canoe-like boat and tells Cat Man to get in as they're now gonna celebrate Gerald's space celebration to thwart his journey to Tuna Mountain because he claims that Gerald is actually a secret chef at a rival restaurant. However, Cat Man doesn't know what he is talking about but Coiffio tells him that he could put him into the water as he jiggles the boat while Cat Man tries telling him to "stop" and asks for the scene to cut to a commercial.
Rod watches a commercial on television where Gerald apparently claims that his name is "Gerald McBald Bald" and that he somehow made over 325 dollars last year by walking around on a confusing quest. He soon states that anyone could be on this quest and wonders if anyone ever wanted to befriend any of his companions Action Hotdog, the Inappropriate Comedy Tree, and Terry. The commercial suddenly messes up as multiple colored Gerald heads appear onscreen while his voice completely changes on television, which doesn't even sound like him, due to the flooding. After the commercial ends and the television stops working, Rod calls someone on the phone to inform them that he is very interesting into tripping his brains on acid as brief visions and flashbacks from throughout the first season appear onscreen.
Gerald finally gotten his Perfect Hair after reaching Tuna Mountain and ending all of that stuff, while walking in the waters of Wetsy with Action Hotdog and a school of Tuna Fish, as he claims that he did "the thing to the guy" and "played that trick on him." Gerald and Action Hotdog move on to a brand new quest to either Pancake Mountain or Hamburger Mountain and past by the Young Man's severe hand, attached to the Hamburger Necklace, on the leaves of a tree. Meanwhile, Rod watches some television with his new family and asks them if they got any food that he can munch them on while he starts farting in the living room. He changes the television channels until he puts Cat Wars on the television and tells his new family about the characters in the program, but the Naked Apron Woman moves away from him. He then asks if they have any liquor or not.
The Young Man, his giraffe companion Sherman, and the Drunk Baby from "Happy Suck Day", stand on a floating damaged hatchback. Sherman is told by the Young Man that he doesn't understand as he claims that all of the danger and APR financing currently going on reminds him of something but he is interrupted by seeing his missing hand. Sherman mentions this as "Cat Snatch Fever", which currently has been going around, and that all of his talking is making him starving while the Young Man thinks he could've still used the missing hand. Sherman asks the Drunk Baby if he has anything to eat. The Young Man sees a Cat and a Bun fighting on the body of an Alligator, which the Young Man and Sherman argue over. The Cat slices the Bun in half but is suddenly attacked by a swarm of flying Buns. After witnessing this, the Young Man wishes that the hotdog Buns and Cats "weren't symbolic of anything" and that this was some "dumb anime mindf--k (eff)." While Sherman wants some food, the Young Man sees that there floating near the lifted up temple of Uncle Grandfather, now wanting to ask him if he knows what's currently going on at the moment.

Trivia[]
- This is the first and only known episode of Season 2. Prior to the release on this episode, Adult Swim's website (Adult Swim.com) stated that the series was back into production with sixteen new episodes to be aired on The Fix (an online streaming network on Adult Swim.com), however, this episode was the only one to be produced. This was due to cancellation, which was announced at a Adult Swim Comic-Con 2006 panel.
- Despite being aired as the seventh episode of the series after the Season 1 finale "Woke Up Drunk", this episode chronologically takes place after "Tusk." This implies that "Woke Up Drunk" could most likely take place after the events of "Happy Suck Day."
- This episode has a lot of continuity from throughout the series and contains many references to the Internet.
- Live action and 2D stock footage can be seen during the episode's opening intro and ending credits.
- God's voice can be heard saying Gerald's name. Norman Douglas even mentioned his name.
- Brenda's music from the pilot episode and "Woke Up Drunk" can be heard again when she appears onscreen.
- Cat Man's hate for water is similar to the real life fear of water for domestic cats.
- The Red Frog and Cat Woman can be seen in the brief visions prior to "Muscular Distraction."
- Gerald mentioning that he did "the thing to the guy" and "played that trick on him" is a reference to a lyric from the theme song of the series, which was played during the credits of the pilot episode.
- The shadow of Norman Douglas can be seen when Rod and his new family are watching television. General Meow and Commander Bun also appear on pictures.
- Gerald's Ear, with some form of sentience, appears outside the window of Rod's house.
- The production music track Triumph of the Warriors by Chris Many plays as the theme song for Cat Wars.
- While Astronomic Cat doesn't physical appear (aside from a cameo in a brief flashback), the term "Cat Snatch Fever", a reference to the third episode of the series, is mentioned by Sherman.
- In the credits of this episode, there is someone that says the words of "We are either very, very, very much in danger, or we are very, very, very, very much safe", which is a reference to Model Robot's line from the pilot episode.
- This was originally the last episode of the series prior to "Muscular Distraction" seven years later.
References & Allusions[]
- Like many previous episodes of the series, Space Ghost makes a few cameos in this episode.
- When Gerald's voice is changing on the television, due to the flood, multiple colored heads of him are seen speaking and one of them sounds a lot like Pikachu from the Pokémon series.
- An unnamed yellow character from the Adult Swim series Squidbillies makes a small brief cameo in this episode.
- Space Ghost can be seen doing the Anime Talk Show with one of the Young Man's Animals on one of the channels that Rod changes to on television.
- Cat Wars is a obvious parody of Star Wars.

- Gerald Bald Z: What?
- God: Are you okay?
- Gerald Bald Z: No.
- Inappropriate Comedy Tree: Is that you, God?
- Gerald Bald Z: Man, the last thing I remember, I was on a motorcycle flying through the air.
- Inappropriate Comedy Tree: But you lost your memory from the crash, and the last thing you remember is you were a chef! Right?
- Gerald Bald Z: No. I think I was on a quest for Tuna Mountain.
- Inappropriate Comedy Tree: No! Your name is Camille. You're a 5-star chef! Aah! Who shot me?

We need to be doing it, doing it, doing it, doing it, doing it, doing it, doing it. And the reason I know this is that all things...Were revealed to me...Through hardcore f**king (Effing) on the pornography-nomen sites. Ah, di-bah...Oh. Did I mention God told me to blow everything up?
- Rod the Anime God: I just paid you all my cash for this house.

- Rod the Anime God: Hmm.
- Coiffio: Do you, Katrina?
- Rod the Anime God: No, I don't. Well, all I can do now is move in with...You guys. That's right.
- Uncle Grandfather: Go on. Jack it up. Jack it, jack it, jack it, jack it, jack it, jack it, jack it. Harder, harder, harder. Oh.
- Coiffio: Cat Man! What up, bro?
- Cat Man: I'm sitting here hating water.
- Coiffio: Why? Get in the boat! Allow me to explain where we're going.
- Cat Man: Agh.
- General Meow: Meow.
- Coiffio: We are going to a space celebration of the thwarting of Gerald's journey to Tuna Mountain. Where it is with me who he is going there because...Uh...
- Cat Man: Uh...
- Coiffio: He is a secret chef at a wonderful restaurant. Probably.
- Cat Man: What the f**k (Eff) are you talking about? Where do you go to school?
- Coiffio: I can put you in the water.
- Cat Man: No.
- Coiffio: I'm gonna jiggle the boat.
- Cat Man: Look.
- Coiffio: Jiggle the boat.
- Cat Man: Stop!
- Coiffio: I'm gonna flip the boat over.
- Cat Man: Let's go to a commercial. Let's go to a commercial. Commercial!

- Gerald Bald Z: A Tree...
- Inappropriate Comedy Tree: Hey, everybody.

- Sherman the Giraffe: Shoot, I wish you just had some cold ones, probably, at least twelve of them.
- Young Man: Wait look.
- Sherman the Giraffe: We should probably go for the whole 24 maybe.
- Young Man: There's that old man's house. Maybe knows what's going on.
