Perfect Hair Forever Wiki

Terry/Twisty is a sentient tornado who joined Gerald (as his third and last companion) on his quest to Tuna Mountain.

Personality[]

Terry is usually a friendly and cherry tornado who suffers from some sort of dissociative identity disorder (once known as Multiple Personality Disorder) that will turn him into an alter ego of himself called Twisty when he gets angry. He acts very gentle and modest when he is Terry (as he "isn't that type of tornado"), being friendly, and giving ice cream, to others such as Gerald and Action Hotdog.

He calls himself Terry when he acts friendly and Twisty when he acts hostile. When becoming Twisty, he will change his pupils from blue to red, speak in an evil voice, and act violent. His anger is triggered by either people mispronouncing his name or hearing the way that the Inappropriate Comedy Tree speaks. Twisty doesn't get along with the Inappropriate Comedy Tree, and will commit some violent acts towards him by stabbing to attacking (using a knife).

When Gerald told him to flick his cigarette at some gas tanks in "Tusk", he only responded with a "what", which shows him not understanding anything when he is being told or asked by other people such as Gerald. Terry is also revealed to be the boyfriend of Model Robot, which the latter has mentioned in a few episodes.

Trivia[]

  • Terry is voiced by Dave Hughes, the creator of the Adult Swim series called Off the Air.
  • He is the only known character in the Perfect Hair Forever series to smoke cigarettes.
  • Despite Terry's boyfriend being revealed to be Model Robot, their relationship is never seen onscreen at any point.
  • In "Cat Snatch Fever" and "Return to Balding Victory" respectively, cheery music can be heard when Terry appears onscreen, which is actually a piece of production music called the Music Box by Eric Allen.
  • Coiffio seems to know about Terry in "TiVo Your eBay" and "Cat Snatch Fever" respectively. It's currently unknown if he works for Coiffio or not.
  • Terry makes a cameo in the intro for "Happy Suck Day" but doesn't physically appear anywhere else in the episode.
  • He is one of the few characters that doesn't speak at all in the eighth episode, only making a brief cameo. Terry also didn't attend the wedding of the Young Man and Brenda, but does appear in the window outside the building where the wedding was held.
  • Terry/Twisty's character traits and personality are very similar to that of Launch, a female character, from Dragon Ball Z series.
    • Both Terry and Launch have cheerful personalities but very strange disorders that will turn them violent.
    • Launch changes into violent personality anytime she squeezes while Terry changes into his alter ego Twisty if his name is mispronounced by people or if he hears the way that the Inappropriate Comedy Tree speaks.
    • Since Perfect Hair Forever is an Adult Swim series that parodies anime, such as Dragon Ball Z, Terry and Twisty are both likely a parody, and a reference, to Launch because of their very similar character traits and personalities that she has.
